Bringing Affordable Engineering Education to Underserved Communities

Our Mission

Inspired by the long running NATCAR collegiate competition, the outreach project is an opportunity for underrepresented and underprivileged high school students of all levels to discover the world of electrical engineering and robotics by building an autonomous car.

With our ten-week curriculum, high school students of any background can learn how to build, code, and run their car, picking up hardware and software knowledge as well as practicing the important soft skills necessary in a working environment.

For Teachers

With low start-up cost, NATCAR offers a sensible, economical solution to schools that have limited human and financial resources. With an interactive, flexible curriculum, teachers can easily integrate the curriculum into afterschool programs and classroom activities.
